10 year caffeine addict

I have been trying to quit caffeine and in my case coffee for years on and off. It has taken many attempts and now I feel I am in control
So briefly how have I done it?
Well I know I miss the taste of coffee so for me decaff coffee is a must.
Occasionally I will have a quick blast of one strong coffee but next day I am back on it because I have finally identified how it affects me mentally and only by really identifying that am I able to mostly stick to the decaff with occasional blast. It's just not worth the downers. It took me a good 4 years to realise this and identify it. Bizarre I know. The occasional blast is a reminder of the negative side it provides later on in that day.
